                       Very rare L1A1 Service Rifle

    This is a very nice wooden furniture  L1A1 SLR as issued to the Singapore Police

force in 1970. 

     This Singapore Police Force Issued Rifle has the correct issued wooden furniture also this is a very rare L1A1  contract to the Singapore Police .   Only 1000 were ever ordered in the 1970  L1A1  Singapore contract.

 

    This L1A1 serial number is 7007581 and is within the serial number range  7007358 to 7008357 for the Singapore contract.

    This L1A1 has a Singapore Police Force  (SPF)  has a rack number 1955 stamped on the receiver  (see photo below).
