WW2 Nazi "945 / 1940" Code Model G33/40 Bolt Action Mountain Carbine

With a very low serial number 282 out of 120,000 being manufactured
This G33/40 was issued to the Nazi Police
The Manufactured of the G33/40 started 16th October 1940 with this G33/40 being manufactured around 30th October 1940 with a serial number 282 as production was around 150 rifles per week. This rifle is the earliest recorded manufactured G33/40 that still exists.
The first batch of which this G33/40 were issued was to the Nazi Police before being issued to other Army units.
This G33/40 has a Police rack number 2327 stamped on the receiver
The German Occupation of Czechoslovakia and the German Army buying into the Czech Company for issue to the Nazi German Army mountain troopers with the G33 / 40 .
By the end December 1942 production ceased after 120,000 G33/40 were manufactured.
The Hooded blade front and tangent rear sights, with "eagle/63" and "WaA63". Stamps on the receiver "1940" with 945 stamped marked receiver and a non matching-numbered bolt stamped "K6" on the underside of the handle.
This G33/40 is chambered in German 8mm (7.92 x 57 ) and the bore is bright with crisp rifling. Metal retains strong even bluing. Stock is clean

Condition is Extremely fine with 95% plus of the original blue finish overall. The stock is very fine with a few light dents. The butt plate and extension still have 95% original factory blueing. Mechanically excellent.

Nice clean factory stampings on receiver and clear Nazi Factory inspection stamps

The stock is the early pattern "3 piece" with finger-slotted joints ahead of the reinforcing bolt and through the knob of the pistol grip, additional "63" stamps at the wrist and butt, matching "282 " serial number on the receiver.
The butt cap still has its original factory blueing with extended steel protector on the left side.
