British made L1A1 was manufactured at the Enfield Factory in 1960 fitted with the later Black furniture in the early 1980's as part of the L1A1 Service upgrade program.

Enfield manufactured L1A1 in straight pull are very rare in the Section one market, most L1A1 that come on the market are ether BSA & Co  or SAF Lithgow manufactured rifles.
