WW2 BSA Number 4T M47c .303 Sniper Rifle
Dated 1943 fitted with No32 Mk1 S/N 36030
Complete with CES Case
This is a very nice WW2 British Army .303 Sniper Rifle complete with its CES Case.
We have fitted a new scope protection cover to protect the optics as it did not come with any scope cover, the rifle is fitted with a No32 Mk1 Telescopic Sight . The CES kit comes complete with the scope tin and Scout Regiments Telescope .
Original manufactured at the BSA & Co Shirley Factory, near Birmingham as a Number 4 Mark 1 and is dated 1943.
It was selected for conversion to the British Army Number 4T .303 Sniper rifle program by Holland and Holland gun makers who did the Number 4T Sniper conversions. The rifle has Holland and Holland acceptance stamp on the rear of the receiver (see photo below).
The rifle was imported from the USA by the last owner and has USA importation stamp from when it was imported into the USA.
