WW2 Sten Gun Mark 5 1944 9MM
The Sten MkV was a more elaborate and better made version of the Sten II and was introduced in early 1944.
Sten submachine gun, Mark V, cal. 9mm, rifled, six groove barrel, 198mm (7.75 in.) long with bayonet mount to fit the No.4 rifle spike bayonet, detachable box magazine holds 32 rounds.
Detachable wooden stock with brass butt plate and trap, and wooden pistol grip. Fixed rear sight to 100 yards.
Stamped on top of magazine housing 'E11' and on underside of housing with serial number S165666.
This is a very clean Mark V Sten Gun , the bolt works but is not connect to the trigger.
