L1A1 BSA  7.62 X 51   date  1961

This is a must for British Service rifles collectors, this L1A1 was manufactured in 1961 which was manufactured at BSA

After the trials X8E1 Experimental L1A1 of 1954 type A & B it took another 4 years of upgrading and modifying until the two Government Factories (Enfield & Fazakerley)  and BSA & Co  Birmingham got into full production.

 BSA made L1A1 are very hard to find,  just back from the London proof house this Section one L1A1 is ready for its new home.
